Casabe Konnect ("Casabe Konnect," "we," "us") provides shipping-management software to shipping companies ("operators"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.

Who controls your data

Casabe Konnect is a platform used by independent shipping operators. When you ship a package with one of these operators, that operator decides what data is collected and why — they are the controller of your information. Casabe Konnect processes that data on their behalf as their software provider. If you have questions about your shipment, contact the operator you shipped with directly.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the platform, this may include:

Contact details — name, phone number, email, and shipping or mailing address.
Shipment information — package contents, weight, dimensions, tracking numbers, origin and destination.
Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Account information — for operator staff, login credentials and role within their company.
Communications — SMS and WhatsApp opt-in status and message history related to your shipments.
Technical data — basic device and usage information needed to run and secure the service.

How we use information

To process, track, and deliver shipments.
To send shipment updates and, where you've opted in, text or WhatsApp alerts.
To process payments and generate invoices and receipts.
To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

SMS & mobile messaging

If you opt in to text-message alerts, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to receive. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS consent or mobile number with third parties for their own marketing. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

With the shipping operator you interact with.
With service providers who help us operate — such as Stripe for payments, and messaging providers for SMS and WhatsApp — bound by their own obligations to protect it.
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data security

Each operator's data is isolated at the database level, encrypted in transit, and protected by role-based access controls. Payment card data is handled by Stripe on PCI-compliant infrastructure and never stored on our servers. For more detail, see our Security page.

Your choices

Text messages — reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time.
Access & correction — contact the operator you shipped with to review or correct your information.
Data export — operators can export their data from the platform at any time.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consent records are retained as a legal record of what was agreed and when.

Children

The platform is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
